Denver producer and artist Vincent ‘Vulture’ Torrez is our first pick for our Creator Spotlight series in which we highlight a Colorado based artist and show some love! Vulture is a genre fluid music producer with years of experience and a trained ear for mixing and mastering. Vince also is the creator of streetwear brand deeplyupset.
Based just outside of Boulder, Colorado, Vulture’s career started back in 2013 making dubstep music posted to SoundCloud and has since worked in multiple lanes of music production including hip-hop, riddim, dubstep, house, and lo-fi. His style has evolved into primarily a dubstep/riddim producer with a dark, unique sound. He has played live shows at Cervantes, Beta Lounge, and Club Vinyl in Denver.
The latest single from Vulture is titled “INTERCHANGEABLE” and boasts a gnarly, retro-like build up with heavy synths, bass, and flow on the drop. It is easy to tell he has put years into his craft including mixing and mastering. Check out the song for yourself here.
